Account and data deletion
This page explains how to request deletion of your NextWish account and the data associated with it. NextWish is the social media-curation app identified on the app's Google Play listing.
1.How to delete your account
In the app: open NextWish, go to Settings, scroll to the "Danger zone" section and tap "Delete account". Confirm the action. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
By email: if you cannot access the app, write to contact@nextwish.app from your registered email address asking to delete your account. We confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days.
2.What data is deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove: your profile (name, @username, avatar image and color), your email and login credentials, all of your items (queue and collections), ratings and reviews, your followers and the people you follow, groups, recommendations sent and received, and achievements. Removal cascades across the database.
3.What is kept and for how long
Backups that still contain your data are purged within 30 days of account deletion.
We may keep a minimal set of records only where a legal obligation applies (for example, payment transaction records for tax and accounting purposes), always limited to what is strictly necessary and for the period required by applicable law. Aggregated, anonymized data that does not identify you may be retained.
4.Deleting only some data
You do not need to delete your account to remove specific content: inside the app you can delete individual items, ratings and reviews at any time.
